I began to experiment with face painting in the early 80s in my native country, Costa Rica, doing basic cheek art with limited supplies for my work place’s parties. It was just a pastime then, an outlet for my creative urges that needed a way out.
In 1984 I moved to this country and started doing face painting for private parties of friends and neighbors. I became more serious about this art after moving to Madison in 2003.

Face painting is for people of ALL ages, including the adults!
This is true not only for Halloween, but for year-round events and parties of all types. I have painted amazing, discreet and elegant designs at the Urban League Cabaret Fundraising, fun Harry Potter designs at a bachelorette party, Bucky cheek designs at tail gates, gorgeous fall leaves at a fall wedding, hundreds of sugar skulls for the Day of the Dead, and tons of flags and symbols for the LGBTQ+ community at the Magic Pride Festival. There is no end to the possibilities! We all have an inner child, no matter our age!

MetamorFaces can enhance many different occasions. We will provide services for any race, any gender; any religion. Language is not a barrier when a picture can speak more than 1,000 words we offer you close to 1,000 pictures to choose from.
MetamorFaces’ owner speaks English, Spanish, some Italian and a little bit of American Sign Language that can be refreshed at any time for your special event. We are all inclusive because we all love having fun.
